Let's Start With the Stores

We know that almost every store sizes their clothes differently, so know your body and don't be afraid to try on a variety of sizes. Just because you fit into a larger size at Banana Repbulic than at The Loft doesn't mean you've gained inches in the short trip from one store to the other. Also, don't be embarrassed of your size! Everyone has a different body shape and the that's accepted, the sooner you can start dressing yourself in beautiful clothing! So, let's start with our favorite, most flattering, affordable stores:

1.) The Loft
The Loft is a super trendy, fresh store that offers clothing for every age and many body types. They're clothing is pretty, sofisticated, and preppy, not to mention they stick with the seasons! Best of all, the clothes can be worn daily, from going to work to going out. There is always a sale going on with a huge selection of clothing to choose from. so while their prices range anywhere from $100 to $5, if you find something too expensive at the time, come back in a month and it may be half price, or lower! The Loft keeps it flattering, affordable, and realistic, which puts it at #1 on our favorite store list! So give it a shot!

2.) The Gap
So, I'm sure we've all heard of The Gap, right? I used to go in there just for jeans, until I went to the back and found all of the fantastic sales and their every-so-flattering clothing! Not only do their jeans fit every body type amazingly, but there is a huge variety of clothing to choose from. You can buy clothes for male, female, and child, while knowing that what your buying will be in style! For women, there is a huge selection of trousers, dresses, adorable tops, shoes, accessories, jeans, scarves, and even work out clothing! Men have the same selection (more manly, of course), and children have everything from bright and frilly to camouflague. I happen to be in love with the bright trousers. They're very trendy, can go from season to season, and can be used from a day in school to work, without breaking the bank. That places The Gap at #2 on our favorite store list!

3.) Francesca's
Looking for a cute dress that you can wear time after time? Try Francesca's. There is a huge selection of dresses, with a few tops and bottoms thrown in. There is also rack upon rack of accessories that are to die for! You can find a dress here for any body type, and usually keep your bill under $50. Too much? Well there is a year round sale rack, and these aren't just the old dresses that nobody wants. Francesca's is the place to find presents, work clothes, casual party dresses, and countless other items that are perfect to be worn daily! This is why Francesca's is #3 on our favorite store list.

4.) J. Crew
This is probably the store that you've past by, and longed for the clothing in the window. If this is you, try going in! I love almost every piece of clothing at J. Crew. It is preppy, flattering, and you can usually catch a good sale. Now, I'm not going to lie, when you're not at the sale rack, the clothes can be a little pricey. It really depends on your budget, but if you're a little bit more willing to spend, definitely check out J. Crew. That puts J. Crew #4 on out favorite store list.

5.) Banana Republic
Banana Republic is the place that is constantly giving out coupons for wonderful deals. I would definitely urge you to sign up for their deals because they're alway coming! The clothing at Banana Republic is professional and very flattering. They keep up very well with the seasons and have amazing accessories always on hand. If you're looking for work clothes this is a great place to go. There are different colors and patterns on each rack that can help you make a realistic statement. That wraps up our favorite store list with Banana Republic at #5

I hope our favorite store list helped you think of new places to look at in your local mall! Each of these stores will keep you looking flattered, stylish, and cool, without the expense. Blog on!
